The site is one of the last of free land spaces in Vilnius Central Business District. This district, formed by high-rise buildings, is the urban vision of Vilnius. It is a unified high-altitude composition in the silhouette of the city, which resembles a visual hillside. However, the project site is located on the border of this territory with a low-rise, cozy, delicate context of old and new residential houses.

This project is like a mediator between two different areas rising in height towards the central business area and descending towards the now low density part of the city. The optimal program of the planned object and the very contrasting context suggest that the designed building must be a moderate architectural expression. The high-rise building itself is an accent in volume and form, therefore the architectural expression must be moderate and considerate.

Our goal is to create successful architecture, therefore alive and bustling with people. In this project we dedicated special attention to create welcoming spaces – a neighborhood square is therefore formed in the site and gathers people after work hours. Urban greenery is surrounding the first floor commercial premises and is encouraged on the private residential terraces.
